Born on September 14, 1992, in Balwa Municipality, Mahottari District, Madhesh Province, Nepal, Ujawal Jha is a dedicated social worker and politician. Known for his contributions to rural development, youth empowerment, and public health, he has founded several grassroots initiatives that have impacted over 20 countries.
Ujawal was born and raised in Balwa Municipality. He attended Shree Janata Primary School in Dhamarua and Shree Janata Secondary School in Banauta. He later earned a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Tribhuvan University.
Starting at a young age, Ujawal led educational awareness programs, free health camps, and disaster relief projects across Nepal. His youth-led initiatives have expanded to over 20 countries, focusing on sustainable development. He has also addressed public health issues like snakebite awareness in the Terai-Madhesh region.
In 2022, Ujawal joined the Communist Party of Nepal (Maoist Centre) to bridge grassroots activism with national policymaking. His platform emphasizes youth leadership, inclusive governance, and rural infrastructure development.
Ujawal’s humanitarian efforts have earned him national and international recognition. His leadership has been featured in global media outlets. In 2024, he supported Manavseva Ashram, a Nepal-based organization for the destitute.
